Description
The Annual Spring Luncheon & Livable Communities Awards highlights how Futurewise is helping communities become leaders in sustainable solutions, and honors achievements that are making Washington State a better place to live.
We are excited to welcome as our featured speaker Alex Steffen, whose book Carbon Zero: Imagining Cities That Can Save the Planet explores the kinds of design, technological and policy innovations that can transform our cities into low‐carbon engines of prosperity.
All friends are welcome with a suggested donation of $150 per person. Lunch will be served at this event with a choice of:
Honey and Cascabel Dusted Chicken Breast with roasted butternut squash, spinach and orzo salad, seasonal greens, cotija cheese -or-
Beluga Lentil, Caramelized Walla Walla Onion and Heirloom Tomato Salad with roasted portabella mushroom, marinated root vegetables and grilled tofu (Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free)
